Thick yeast pancakes on the Tasty Blog

      We prepare the dough. Pour warm water into a bowl and sprinkle the yeast on top.

      Let it sit for 5 minutes, then stir. Add sugar and 150 g of flour. Mix well.

      Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place to rise for 40-60 minutes. The dough should double in volume.

      Take an egg and separate the white from the yolk. Add the yolk to the dough, then pour in the melted and slightly cooled butter. Add half of the milk and mix. Then add half of the flour and mix again. Alternately add the remaining milk and flour, kneading until you have a homogeneous dough.

      Cover the bowl again and let the dough rise until it doubles in volume.

      Add the whipped egg white, beaten to soft peaks, to the risen dough and gently mix.

      Fry the pancakes over medium-high heat on both sides.

      Brush the finished pancakes with additional melted butter.

      Serve.
