Heat 2 tbsp. of vegetable oil in a frying pan over high heat. In several steps quickly brown the meat. Transfer to a pot or pot for stewing. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the onion to the pan and fry, stirring for 3 minutes. Add the paprika and fry for another 1 minute. Add the crushed tomatoes with their juice and stir. Add everything to the meat, add 600 ml of water and salt to taste. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to a minimum and stew under a lid for about 30-40 minutes. Then add the potatoes and stew for another 20 minutes. Add the mushrooms and finely chopped garlic and braise until the meat is ready. If necessary, add a little sugar for full flavor.
