For the dough, combine milk, sour cream, vegetable oil, and baking powder. Gradually add flour and knead an elastic, but not too stiff dough (if you've made strudel before, aim for a similar dough consistency). Divide it into 3 parts.

Wrap each part in plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes at room temperature. Then take one part and roll it out into a thin rectangular sheet (1.5-2 mm thick).

Lightly dust the sheet with flour and begin folding the dough. The first fold should be 3 cm.

Then roll it into a roll. Cut into diagonal pieces.

The cross-section should look like this:

Repeat with the remaining dough. Simultaneously, fry the pieces in hot oil (temperature 180°C). Transfer to paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Prepare the syrup. Combine water, sugar, and honey, bring to a boil over the stove. Remove from heat.

Place the fried dough pieces into the syrup and let them soak and absorb the syrup.

Transfer to a tray and sprinkle with chopped nuts (I used pistachios).

      Let cool and serve.

      Enjoy your tea!
