      Notes on ingredients:

      Chicken. In this marinade, you can bake not only thighs but also whole drumsticks and wings. Another option is boneless thigh fillets. In that case, less time is needed to reach doneness.

      Variation: You can prepare this dish with rabbit legs. It’s also a very successful and suitable combination.

      Oranges. It’s best to use sweet varieties of oranges. If you get sour ones, you can increase the amount of sugar slightly to balance the flavor.

      Rosemary. Both fresh and dried rosemary are suitable. However, fresh rosemary will have a brighter and more intense aroma. If using dried, add 1 heaping teaspoon.

      Soy sauce. Regular soy sauce is used here by default. If you want a deeper color and a richer umami flavor, you can replace 1 tablespoon of regular soy sauce with dark soy sauce.

      Sugar. Use regular white sugar.

      Garlic. Fresh garlic is best in this recipe.

      Let's proceed to cooking.

      Squeeze the juice from one orange. Mix it with soy sauce, sugar, grated garlic, and salt.

      Slice the second orange into wedges and place it in an ovenproof dish along with the chicken. Add sprigs of rosemary. Pour the sauce over.

      Place the dish in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius and cook for about 45-50 minutes, occasionally basting the thighs with the sauce from the dish.

      Serve.
