Aspic pie with meat and mushrooms on the Delicious Blog

      Minced meat. This time I used ground beef. It will work equally well with mixed, pork, or even minced poultry – chicken or turkey.

      Onion. We use regular onions, but if you want, then shallots and white salad will do.

      Mushrooms. Champignons are an ideal choice. If desired, you can use oyster mushrooms or wild mushrooms.

      If you don't eat mushrooms, you can simply exclude them from the recipe. There is no need to make any other changes.

      Cheese. Any semi-hard cheese like gouda or emmental is suitable.

      Greens. The recipe uses parsley, but you can replace or supplement it with dill and/or green basil.

      Kefir. Fat content is not important in this case. You can replace it with drinking yogurt or low-fat sour cream.

      Flour. For this pie, ordinary flour of the highest grade with a protein of about 10% is ideal.

      Eggs. Use medium–sized eggs - C-1 or M. By weight, it is about 50-55 grams per piece without a shell.

      We proceed to cooking.

      Finely chop the onion and garlic. Cut the mushrooms into thin slices.

      Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and fry, stirring, for 3 minutes.

      Put the mushrooms and fry, stirring, for a couple more minutes.

      Add the garlic and minced meat, and cook, stirring, until the minced meat loses its raw color, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

      Transfer to a bowl. Add the cheese and chopped herbs.

      For the dough, combine the eggs and kefir, mix until smooth. Add the flour sifted with salt and baking powder and knead the dough.

      Spread half of the dough on the bottom of the mold.

      We put the filling on the dough and distribute it evenly.

      Spread the remaining dough and smooth it out.

      We send the pie pan to a preheated 180 degree oven and bake until ready, about 30 minutes.

      Remove, let stand for 15 minutes, then remove from the mold and slice.
