      Cheese. For this recipe, almost any semi–hard cheese is suitable - gouda, emmental, cheddar and the like. Alternatively, you can use mozzarella for pizza.

      Ham. Any smoked and boiled ham is suitable. Alternatively, you can add a meaty smoked pork belly.

      Green onions. It gives the slopes a light piquancy and a brighter look. You can add other herbs to your taste, such as parsley or green basil.

      Flour. Ordinary flour of the highest grade with a protein of about 10% is suitable for scones. There is no point in using bread.

      If you like the taste of whole wheat flour, you can substitute up to a quarter of regular flour. At the same time, keep in mind that you will have to add more liquid to maintain the consistency of the dough.

      Butter. In this recipe, you can use oil with a fat content of 72% or more. In this case, it should be cold.

      Eggs. The recipe is designed for a medium–sized egg - C-1 or M. Such an egg without a shell weighs about 50-55 g.

      Sour cream. Fat content in this case is not important. You can replace sour cream with Greek yogurt without additives.

      Sugar. In this unsweetened pastry, sugar is needed to balance the flavor. Use regular white sugar for this recipe.

      We proceed to cooking.

      Cheese three on a coarse grater, ham and green onion finely chopped. Mix it up.

      Mix the flour with the remaining dry ingredients. Put it in a blender, add the diced butter. We interrupt to the state of coarse crumbs.

      Add the egg and sour cream, knead the dough.

      We put 3/4 of the filler volume into the dough. Mix it up.

      We form a ball from the dough, put it on a floured surface and roll it out into a round layer 3-3.5 cm thick. cut into 12 pieces.

      We put the remaining quarter of the filler on top and press it down slightly.

      We put the scones on a baking sheet and send them to an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake until cooked and golden brown, about 25-30 minutes.

      Serve warm or completely cooled.
