      Chicken. The best option for this dish is chicken thighs. They are guaranteed to be juicy. You can take the hips with or without a bone. In the second case, the extinguishing time will be about 15 minutes. If you decide to replace the thigh with breast fillet, simmer for 10 minutes.

      Tomatoes. The recipe contains tomatoes in their own juice. These are the tomatoes that are sold in tin cans, which contain only tomatoes, tomato juice and citric acid. There may be more salt. All options with vinegar and sugar are not suitable.

      If there are no canned tomatoes, you can use fresh tomatoes. For the amount of ingredients used in the recipe, take 350 g of tomatoes and 50 g of tomato paste for flavor intensity.

      Sweet pepper. You can use different colors of peppers, but in my experience, reds are usually sweeter.

      Frozen pepper is suitable in this case, before adding it to the pan, you need to defrost it beforehand.

      Onion. Regular onions are enough for this dish. But according to the situation and desire, you can use red, white onion or shallot.

      Garlic. Use fresh garlic – it is optimal for this recipe.

      Cream. This recipe uses 20% cream for sauces. If you only have 30% fat and above, you can use them, but in smaller quantities. 100 ml in this case will be enough. Keep it in mind. It may take a little more broth or water to maintain the consistency of the sauce.

      Broth. If you have stocks of frozen chicken broth, I recommend adding it – with it the taste of the sauce will be more intense. If there are no broth options at all, use water.

      Pasta. I used fettuccine in this dish, but by and large, any long or short pasta is suitable here – both spaghetti and penne with fusilli.

      We proceed to cooking.

      We cut out the bones from the hips, cut each into 2 parts. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan over high heat. In several sets, fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides, 1 minute per side. Transfer to a plate.

      Reduce the heat to medium, add the finely chopped onion and fry, stirring, for 4 minutes.

      Add the pepper, cut into 1.5 * 1.5 cm pieces. Stir-fry for another 5-6 minutes.

      Grind the tomatoes together with the juice in a blender and add to the pan. Pour in 150 ml of water. add salt to taste.

      Put the fried thighs in a frying pan and simmer over medium heat under the lid until cooked, about 20 minutes. 5 minutes before cooking, add finely chopped garlic.

      Remove the finished chicken from the pan, put it on a plate and keep it warm.

      Pour the cream into the sauce, bring to a boil and turn off.

      In parallel, boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain the water and add it to the sauce. Mix it up. We spread the pasta on plates, put the chicken pieces on top. We are serving.
