Each onion is cut into 6-8 slices.
Heat the butter in a frying pan over low heat. Add the onion and fry until soft, about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, we process the liver – we cut off the fat and films. Cut into rather large pieces, add salt and pepper. Roll it in flour.
Remove the pan with the cooked onion from the heat.
In another frying pan over medium heat, fry the liver in vegetable oil in several batches until cooked.
Return the frying pan with onions to the stove, increase the heat to medium-high. Add the fried liver, sugar and vinegar. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Turning it off.
We put the liver and onion on a plate, sprinkle with chopped nuts, add arugula.
Serve with toasted white bread.
