From the sausage to the edges make cuts. Wrap the upper and lower pairs of strips on the sausage. Then alternately put them on the sausage, as if swaddling it. Put the sausages on a tray and leave to rise - it will take 30-40 minutes. Then smear with a couple of spoonfuls of milk diluted with egg yolk and put in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
