Cabbage roll soup on the Tasty Blog

      Recipe preparation:

       Source: https://www.vkusnyblog.com/recipe/golubtsovyj-sup/Finely chop the onion, carrot, and garlic. Cut the cabbage randomly – you can shred it, but I cut it into medium-sized pieces.

      In a pot over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the onion and carrot and sauté, stirring, for 3-4 minutes.

      Add the tomato paste and garlic and sauté, stirring, for another minute.

      Add the minced meat to the pot and sauté, stirring and breaking up lumps, for about 2-3 minutes, until the meat loses its pink color.

      Add the cabbage, rice, and tomato juice.

      Pour in the broth or water, and salt to taste. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer covered until the rice and cabbage are cooked.

      Remove the lid and adjust the soup to taste if necessary. I add a little sugar for balance, for example.

      Serve with sour cream and herbs.
