For several consecutive years around New Year I put together New Year’s menus for you made up of appetizers, salads, a main course and a dessert. Today I decided to combine them into a single post for your convenience.
In my menu selections there are 3 appetizers, a couple of salads, a main dish and a dessert. The menus aren’t given just as a list — each one is laid out step by step to show how a working hostess can optimize her time to lighten the load on December 31 as much as possible.
The dishes are chosen so as not to overload the menu in terms of richness and overlapping flavors. For example, if the main dish is meaty, the appetizers and salads are lighter. One salad is heartier and more robust, the other lighter and more refined.
Enjoy, choose a suitable menu and save it to your bookmarks 🙂
